The Portland Timbers and Thorns are professional football clubs playing in the MLS and the NWSL, having been founded in 2009 and 2012 respectively. The Timbers won their first Western Conference Finals in the playoffs in 2015, and their first major trophy, the MLS Cup. The Thorns are hugely successful and have won the NWSL Championship 3 times in 10 years, most recently in November 2022. Challenges faced

Both teams face gruelling schedules with games, training, partner activation, press conferences, and their content and marketing teams are faced with huge weekly influxes of digital assets that need to be centralised and classified.
