AWS Elemental Inference is a fully managed AI service, built by AWS, that automates the transformation of live broadcasts into vertical, platform-ready content. It generates vertical 9:16 video and highlight clips in real time, with 6 to 10 second latency, processing the video once while optimizing it simultaneously for every platform. Connected to ScorePlay, its output flows straight into your media management layer, where tagging, editorial review and distribution happen.
What you can do
Turn a live broadcast into mobile-ready vertical clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Snapchat, without adding headcount
Run a fully automated, zero-touch pipeline: video goes in, vertical 9:16 content and highlight clips come out, landing in ScorePlay tagged and ready to distribute
Have AWS Elemental Inference generate keyframe suggestions, then let editors review and fine-tune them inside ScorePlay before publishing
Surface key moments as they happen, time-coded and metadata-tagged, so editors start from a structured shortlist instead of scrubbing full footage
Choose the level of automation per workflow: fully automated, semi-automated, or logging-only
How it works with ScorePlay
AWS Elemental Inference handles the AI layer at the infrastructure level: reframing, highlight detection and vertical clip generation in real time. ScorePlay picks up from there as the media management layer, handling content organization, tagging and metadata, rights and permissions, and distribution to athletes, partners and social platforms.
Three modes cover different levels of human involvement:
Fully Automated Studio: a zero-touch pipeline for organizations that need to scale social content without adding headcount. Finished vertical and highlight assets are pushed straight into ScorePlay, already tagged and ready to distribute.
Semi-Automated Vertical Video: Elemental Inference proposes keyframe suggestions, which editors review and fine-tune inside ScorePlay before publishing, balancing AI speed with human creative control at the final step.
Automated Key Moment Logging: instead of finished clips, the system populates ScorePlay's video timeline with time-coded, metadata-tagged key moments, giving editors a structured starting point and cutting down time spent scrubbing footage.
Whichever mode is in use, the goal is the same: speed from automation, without giving up editorial control.
