For sports, by sports’ isn’t just a tagline, it’s at the core of everything we do. Our first beta was developed collaborating with photographers from our very first member club, Toulouse FC, and we listened very carefully to create the perfect toolkit to centralise and distribute sports content. Lights. Camera. Action.

ScorePlay x Photographers: Match made in heaven

Being at the heart of the media ecosystem, we want to make it as easy as possible for photographers to send their content and get maximum value. Having archives 24/7, even years after the events, is beneficial and can help you build your personal brand alongside your club. All our clubs see the immediate benefit of having their photos fed directly from camera to their platform via FTP, with every asset automatically recognised and tagged by our AI with athletes, partners and relevant metadata. Photographers can be easily credited, and photos they’ve captured can be easily searched using their name tags.

Before using ScorePlay, sports photographers were at the heart of the club's struggle as they ran around handing over SD cards and hard-drives. Today, the content goes from the camera to social feeds in minutes via the ScorePlay Athlete and Admin App.

There have been hundreds of iconic moments in sports history that showcase extreme athletic ability but also tell stories. Visual storytelling and being able to relay their energy to the viewers is an art, and that is sports photography. It relies on the talent and creativity of the photographers. Not only do sports photographers need fast reactions, but they also rely on special instincts and intuition to anticipate great shots. To celebrate this art, here’s a focus on some of the best photographers who use the ScorePlay platform. Every day, we make their lives easier with the best possible way to manage and distribute sports content: ScorePlay.

Manix Diaz de Rada

Manix is a photographer for Real Sociedad de Fútbol. His years of experience can clearly be seen in the photos he takes, capturing movement and emotion perfectly for every single match. One of the first photographers we worked with, he was crucial in implementing our Live Mode FTP feature.

Mark Thor
