ScorePlay Company Update September

It’s been a few months since our last update and you can see why below. We’ve been busy designing the most complete all-in-one media workspace made for sports, by sports. After investment from a former World Cup Winner, Mario Götze, and huge milestones on the athlete app we’ve proved that we’ve created something not only that athletes want, but they need. And that makes organisations' lives infinitely easier. So in no particular order, here’s an overview of everyone that has joined the revolution and community.

Football clubs and associations:

  • Reading FC: our first Championship and WSL team joins us to upgrade their digital strategy and become our 2nd division English team after Luton Town.
  • Tigres: Our first Liga-MX club has joined ScorePlay to be Mexico's most efficient media manager.
  • Le Havre: the coastal club join us as ScorePlay becomes the go-to solution in Ligue 1.
  • Athletico Paranaense: our third Brazilian club joins up.
  • Scottish FA: In addition to our Scottish clubs, the Scottish FA has now signed up to use the platform for both their women’s and men’s team. We’re excited to work with our first federation in Europe to tailor the platform to their needs.
  • 1. FC. Köln: our first German club marks the launch of our DACH expansion.
  • FC Tulsa: another USL team decided to use ScorePlay to optimise their digital strategy.

Golf: The Amundi Evian Championship (Golf Major) decided on ScorePlay to revitalise their photo and video workflows. Find out here how they made use of our athlete and partner distribution, time-based video tagging, as well as our live broadcast integration.

Rugby: We added Stade Français, UBB and Stade Rochelais to our ranks in France. Rugby needed ScorePlay as much as everyone else.

Triathlon: A huge opportunity to master a new workflow came up with the iconic Ironman Triathlon deciding to partner with ScorePlay, giving us a new point of view to continue improving the product and developing an all-in-one tool for all sports.

Baseball: The Portland Pickles needed ScorePlay as much as their baseball content for their meme content. A summer baseball team recognised the power of organised content and the immediate searchability throughout the year to continue engaging their fans online.

Cricket: Another sport and another foray into a new workflow. Gloucestershire County Cricket club partnered with ScorePlay to become to first cricket club to join our media revolution. We had just written about how cricket needs ScorePlay - so we’re pretty happy with this one.
